Comprehensive Detailed Assessment (CDA)
Comprehensive independent scientifically documented analysis and report
Service Description
A Comprehensive Detailed Assessment is required when methamphetamine contamination is confirmed or suspected, or when formal action may be necessary. Our samplers hold BSc degrees and NZQA certification in Methamphetamine Sampling. The purpose of a Comprehensive Detailed Assessment is to quantify the presence and distribution of methamphetamine contamination. This meth test determines, under the Residential Tenancies (Managing Methamphetamine Contamination) Regulations 2026, whether a property is contaminated and what decontamination is required. Comprehensive Detailed Assessment samples are collected from all use areas (bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, hallway, bathroom, laundry, other living spaces, garage, outbuildings) and selected limited-use areas (e.g., roof cavities, crawl spaces). Samples are sent to the laboratory and analysed individually for direct comparison with methamphetamine threshold levels.
