The field test sampled is composited (put together) in the laboratory. This reduces costly lab analysis fees and time. The technician (Greg) conducts a thorough sampling pattern in line with NZS8510 of your property. It takes about an hour and costs start from $250 + GST (for 10 swabs). 10 swabs is usually adequate for a typical 3 bedroom house. If a property is larger, then an extra tube is required to be analysed at the laboratory. This will give a further 5 swabs to use and costs a further $99 + GST. The lab analysis fees and report are all included in the pricing. Each living space/room is tested using discrete samples - each swab is placed in a tube & analysed individually. The minimum of one sample is required to be taken per 10m². There may also be a variety of surfaces that will require testing as well, in the same area. Our samplers are all BSc degree qualified and hold NZQA certification in Methamphetamine Sampling.
